Program Associate, Strategic Communications & Outreach 

Becca Wittenstein joined the Achieve staff in June of 2011 and currently serves as Program Associate. As a member of the Strategic Communications & Outreach team, she provides communications support for multiple initiatives such as Achieve’s American Diplomas Project (ADP) Network, the Future Ready Project, and the Next Generation Science Standards.

Before joining Achieve, Becca worked at Education Week's Editorial Projects in Education Research Center where she served as Research Associate. In this capacity, Becca led the Teaching Profession and Transitions & Alignment 50-state surveys used for the Research Center's annual reports Quality Counts and Diplomas Count.

Becca also spent a year teaching in the DC Incentive Program's Pre-K Initiative classroom at CentroNia. A native of the Washington DC area, Becca holds a bachelor's in English from Haverford College in Pennsylvania. She received her master's in public policy from the Thomas Jefferson Program in Public Policy at the College of William and Mary during which time she served as the Dodd Fellow in State and Local Policy.
