Why are you passionate about education?

“In our country, we hold strong to the belief that endless opportunities should be available to all. This should start with a quality education, so that all students can take full advantage of any opportunity. Yet gaps in student achievement persist, particularly among underserved groups that could especially benefit from the best education possible.

There are complex, global challenges facing society today, and tomorrow will certainly bring challenges that will require better, more innovative solutions. I firmly believe that when we expect more out of our students, they can and will rise to meet that high bar. I work at Achieve to help ensure that all students in the U.S. have access to an education that routinely challenges them and helps them learn the skills needed to be successful later in life. In turn, well-prepared students can go on to overcome the challenges and issues our country and our world needs to solve in the future.”
