It also contains links to Indiana’s P-16 plan for improving achievement, the Indiana Core 60 Scholars program, an initiative to engage local businesses and the American Diploma Project.

The Indiana Core 40 Scholars initiative is an effort by school and area business volunteers to encourage students to complete the challenging high school coursework that will prepare them for jobs and higher education after graduation. This toolkit provides samples of information used in these efforts, including incentive and support ideas, presentations for 8th graders, a sample press release, a sample letter to recruit businesses, as well as supplemental presentation slides and information.
