Florence, KY - Carrie Lichtenberg has won the 2007 National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) Kentucky Teacher Excellence Award. Along with her work teaching senior and sophomore English at Highlands High School, Lichtenberg also participates in other educational programs including the American Diploma Project where she helped develop a rigorous English curriculum for high school.
