Ohio Department of Education Receives Prize for Excellence in International Education

COLUMBUS, OHIO – Superintendent of Public Instruction Susan Tave Zelman announced the Ohio Department of Education’s receipt of the 2007 Goldman Sachs Foundation Prize for Excellence in International Education. The state was recognized for several initiatives related to preparing students for the global economy. Ohio engaged in an international study, conducted by Achieve, Inc., comparing Ohio's education system to the best systems across the world.
