
Hans Voss was hired at Achieve in October 2011 and currently serves as a Policy Associate with the State Policy & Implementation Support team. Much of his work focuses on Achieve’s Open Educational Resources (OER) projects, which include the Achieve OER Rubrics and Evaluation Tool and the Achieve OER Institute. The OER Institute is a cohort of states working together to use OER in they implement new standards. He has also assisted with the EQuIP collaborative and the development of the Next Generation Science Standards. Hans is a native of Centerville, Ohio. A proud Buckeye, he graduated from The Ohio State University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Hans is currently in the Master of Public Administration program at American University, with a focus in Public Management. He intends to graduate in May 2013. Prior to working at Achieve, Hans held internships at the Ohio Union, which is Ohio State University's student union, and the Dayton Development Coalition in Dayton, Ohio.
