Achieve was founded in part to help states align their academic standards and assessments with the expectations of college and careers.

Standards

Achieve's guiding principle in K-12 standards has been to clearly define what students should know and be able to do throughout their K-12 experience, with the aim of all students graduating ready for college and careers.  Much of Achieve’s work has focused on English Language Arts and mathematics standards, most recently around the Common Core State Standards (CCSS).  Click here to learn more about our work with the CCSS, Next-Generation Science Standards, and other work in standards.

Assessments
