Achieve will be hosting the third EQuIP Summit, Summit Midwest, on January 24-26, 2018 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The two-day summit will introduce participants to the EQuIP Task Rubrics for Mathematics and English Language Arts (ELA)/Literacy and the Student Work Analysis Tool and provide dedicated time for exploring how best to use them in support of improving instructional materials.

The EQuIP Task Rubrics for ELA/literacy and mathematics capture the key elements of the EQuIP Rubric and focus the criteria to support the evaluation of material at the task level. The Student Work Analysis Tool allows teachers the opportunity to analyze student proficiency and helps inform their understanding of the expectations of content standards. EQuIP summit participants will learn how to use both tools in content-specific settings and can implement them immediately or provide training for members of their community afterward.

We are looking for teams of 3 individuals from 10 different schools or districts to attend the summit. Districts and schools interested in attending should click here to learn more and to apply.
