Application to participate in the Student Assessment Inventory for School Districts National Network
Thank you for your interest in the Student Assessment Inventory for School Districts National Network. Achieve will provide sub-grants and technical support for up to 12 districts to complete the assessment inventory process by June 2017. The application to participate is below, and the deadline for submission is Friday, December 16. More information about the assessment inventory can be found here. The grant timeline includes the following activities:
- Through December 16, 2016: Districts complete applications
- By December 23, 2016: Notification of network acceptance
- Early January 2017: Introductory webinar on the assessment inventory process
- Late January/early February 2017: Cross-district convening (site TBD, travel and hotel is covered by grant and does not impact district sub-grant)
- February-June 2017: Districts complete assessment inventory activities, with monthly check-in calls
- June 2017: Districts finalize recommendations to decision-making authority in district (e.g., central office leadership, school board)
Participating districts will receive a $5,000-$7,000 sub-grant to participate in the network, which can be used to complete inventory activities (e.g., teacher stipends to participate in leadership team, survey development and administration, space and materials for focus groups). Districts will be asked to complete a budget in January 2017, following acceptance to the network. A budget does not need to be completed as part of the application process.
