Neelo Soltanzadeh
Program Associate, Science
Neelo joined Achieve in February 2019 as Program Associate. She works closely with the science team at Achieve on NGSS and STEM initiatives.
Before joining Achieve, Neelo was a middle school science teacher in Maryland, where she taught 7th and 8th grade life and physical sciences. In her years of teaching, Neelo dedicated her time addressing the needs of her students and community, notably in STEM and educational equity. Some of her key involvements include designing and implementing a professional development on the academic success of English language learners, and the implementation of the NGSS in the Anne Arundel County Public Schools 8th grade science curriculum.
Neelo received her B.S in Biological Sciences and her Master of Art in Teaching from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
