Achieve Webinar: Getting the Message Right: Strategies for Articulating Competency-Based Pathways to Diverse Audiences

In January 2015 Achieve and the Council for Chief State School Officers Innovation Lab Network held a technical assistance webinar highlighting resources that can be used to help communicate the value of and vision for competency-based pathways. This webinar was designed specifically for state education agency leaders, communication directors/public information officers, advocacy organization leaders, and others involved in planning and carrying out communication strategies around competency-based pathways. On the webinar, Achieve released a Communications Toolkit to aid state-level stakeholders in articulating the need for competency-based pathways. Chris Sturgis of CompetencyWorks, Pete Janhunen of The Fratelli Group, and Kim Hanisch, Re-inventing Schools Coalition also shared key insights and specific resources for state leaders.
