Tennessee Commissioner of Education Kevin S. Huffman writes in a guest column in The Commercial Appeal that the Tennessee Comprehensive Assessment Program pays off with higher scores over previous year, particularly in math, in grades 3-8. "We live in a competitive world, and our children must be able to compete with children from across the country for future jobs and opportunities."
