To create the 2016 reports, Achieve collected publicly available data from states’ report cards, high school feedback reports, and accountability reports throughout summer and fall 2015. Achieve reviewed postsecondary and P–20 reports and reports commissioned by state legislatures and other entities in the state for relevant data. Achieve also drew on publicly available data from national organizations and agencies, including the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), College Board, ACT, and The Education Trust.
